Los Santos Pals Remix

A remix of Los Santos Pals by Quincy Martin, built from the original's own source. Real Pals, with their models, animations, skills and stats read from your own Palworld install when Melty sets it up, roam GTA V's Los Santos. Nothing from Palworld is shipped.

Story mode only. The mod switches itself off if GTA Online starts. Uninstall the mashup before playing GTA Online.

What's different from the original

• Pal balls. Your starter and every Pal you catch start in their ball. B calls them all out or puts them back. Pals working at your base stay there. Party of 6.
• New menu on I, mouse-driven (hover, left click to pick, right click to go back) or by keyboard (arrows, Enter, Backspace). Pages:
  • Pals: make active, follow, stay, gather, defend, all-Pals orders, ball, box, release.
  • Gang, Craft, Inventory, Properties, Controls.
  • The 24/7 Pal Shop uses the same menu.
• Gang and base. Found and name your gang, recruit people nearby, set your crew to follow or hold, set your base, disband.
• Gathering and crafting, with no base building.
  • Pals on Gather work at your base marker and bring Wood, Stone, Berries, Paldium and Wool, depending on their element.
  • Craft Pal Spheres, Berry Snacks, Pistol Ammo and Pal Armor.
• Inventory: 200 slots, stacks of 999.
• Safe doors.
  • Going through a door loads the other side first and puts you on the ground. If the other side doesn't load, or you start falling, it brings you back.
  • Record your own doors with F4: once outside, then once inside.
  • No door leads to a GTA Online-only place. The clubhouse, warehouses and hangar are business lots now: press E at the marker to start their job.
• Name tags: green for your Pals, white for wild ones.
• Z / X / C: your active Pal's three real Palworld skills, with on-screen buttons and cooldowns. They also work on the wild Pal you face, so you can weaken it before a throw.
• Your starter arrives only once the game is on screen and you have control.
• Auto-save every 10 s: Pals, inventory, gang name and base.
• GTA's HUD stays on top of Pals, and the mod is lighter: about 0.4 ms per frame.

Catching (E), riding Direhowl, Eikthyrdeer and Rushoar (F), Palworld's glider (SPACE in mid-air) and grappling gun (G), Pal Tamer 1v1 battles (you can't be hurt during one), homes bought with your story cash, business jobs, Pal levels.

Co-op

Up to 4 players with Melty's Join link. Each player is in their own story mode and sees the others, their Pals and their homes.

Needs: GTA V Legacy 1.0.3889.0 (Steam) and Palworld. Melty installs the ASI loader and runs the Palworld setup by itself.
