Overcooked's kitchen chaos, played inside Minecraft.
Press Play and you land in the Kitchen Rush lobby. Walk up to a portal, pick a kitchen, and the orders start coming.
What you do
- Grab ingredients from crates, chop them, cook them, plate them and serve them before the ticket runs out.
- One thing in your hands at a time. Chopping and washing only progress while a chef stands at the station, and food left on the heat burns.
- Serve at the hatch, carry the dirty plate back to the sink, and keep the plates moving.
- Earn up to three stars per kitchen. Your best results stay on the lobby board.
What's in it
- A lobby with a level board and three kitchens: Quiet Kitchen (soup), Two-Counter Rush (soup and burgers) and Split Kitchen (soup, burgers and salad).
- Solo play with a helper chef who fetches, chops, cooks and serves alongside you.
- Co-op for up to 4 players. Friends join from your Melty page; nobody types an address or forwards a port.
- Order tickets and chef portraits drawn with Overcooked's own art, read from your installed copy while you play.
What you need
- Minecraft: Java Edition (Kitchen Rush runs its own Minecraft 1.21.1 with Fabric; Melty sets it up).
- Overcooked (the first game) installed. Nothing from Overcooked is included in the download.
Good to know
- The kitchens are original layouts made for this mashup.
- Chefs appear as Overcooked portraits above each player and on your screen, not as full character models.
Includes Prism Launcher (GPL-3.0), Fabric API (Apache-2.0) and e4mc by skyevg (MIT). Kitchen Rush itself is MIT licensed.
