Jaden, lightsaber lit, in the middle of Grove Street.
Jedi in Los Santos runs Jedi Academy's single-player combat on the real Grove Street, brought over from your own copy of GTA: San Andreas - The Definitive Edition the first time you press Play.
What you do
Spawn in the cul-de-sac outside CJ's house with your saber on and Radio Los Santos playing. Ballas roll in within seconds.
Fight six waves: Ballas, then Vagos, then an Imperial landing party, then the Disciples of Ragnos, then a saber duel with Alora.
Grove Street Families fight on your side.
Deflect gunfire, Force-push gang members down the street, cut the parked cars until they blow.
Pick up the guns they drop: 9mm, AK-47, Micro Uzi, shotgun, with their San Andreas sounds.
Walk up to the Greenwood or the Savanna and press Use to drive it.
] changes radio station (Radio Los Santos, Playback FM, K-DST, Bounce FM, Radio X, K-Rose), [ turns it off, F5 restarts the fight.
What comes from where
From Jedi Academy: Jaden, sabers, Force powers, the stormtroopers, Reborn and Alora, and all the rules of combat.
From San Andreas: Grove Street itself, the gang members, the cars, the guns and the radio.
Nothing from either game is in the download. Both are read from your own installs.
You need
Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - The Definitive Edition installed on the same PC (Steam, Rockstar Games Launcher or Epic). Without it the game opens in a room that tells you so.
The first start takes about a minute while Grove Street is converted; after that it goes straight in. Single player.
Good to know (0.1.0)
Guns follow Jedi Academy's blaster rules, so shots are bolts you can deflect.
Cars use Jedi Academy's speeder rules: they glide, and the wheels don't spin.
Gang members speak with Jedi Academy alien voices.
The play area is Grove Street and the block around it.
