Every broom in Hogwarts Legacy becomes a real Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 plane. The model, livery, cockpit and thumbnail are loaded from your own MSFS install. Nothing from either game ships with this mod.

The game's broom keeps you level and upright. This mod gives you the sky: barrel rolls, loops, flying upside down over the castle, and a real chase camera that rolls with you.

WHAT'S NEW IN 1.1.0 Left stick Turn mode replaces the old Rudder mode. Tap L3 to switch between Look and Turn. In Turn mode you can turn and climb in place at a hover. The current mode is shown on the control legend while you fly.

WHAT YOU GET

• 14 aircraft, from the Pitts Special and F/A-18E to the 747-8 and the Wright Flyer. Pick yours in the hangar.
• Fly like a plane, not a broom: roll inverted, loop, barrel roll and bank into turns. The stock broom can't do any of that.
• Lakes, trees, cliffs and the ground stop you.
• Chase camera and a full-size MSFS cockpit view.
• The F/A-18E and Darkstar fire your spells: all 14 in the roster, Avada Kedavra and Crucio included.

CONTROLS (Plane layout) Controller: RT throttle, LT afterburner, right stick roll and pitch. Look (default): left stick looks around and recentres when released. Turn: left stick X turns flat left/right and Y goes straight up/down, even at a hover, so you can turn in tight spaces. Tap L3 alone while flying to switch Look / Turn (the hangar's Left stick row switches it too). Tap L3+R3 for the hangar, hold L3+R3 for the cockpit, RB primary spell, LB secondary spell. Keyboard: A/D roll, W/S pitch, , and . yaw, hold left mouse for throttle, Shift afterburner, F7 hangar, F8 cockpit, E or mouse 4 primary, X or mouse 5 secondary. Switch to Classic in the hangar for the game's own broom controls.

REQUIREMENTS Hogwarts Legacy (Steam) and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 installed on the same PC. If MSFS is not found, brooms stay brooms.

KNOWN LIMITATIONS

• The broom's boost flame can show under some planes.
• LB fires only on armed planes in the Plane layout; otherwise it is the tool wheel.
• No engine sound, and cockpit gauges do not move.
