Playtime Co. moves into Banban's Kindergarten. You play Garten of Banban with a GrabPack on your back while Playtime Co.'s films broadcast through the building.
What you get (version 0.1, the opening stretch)
Two GrabPack hands. Each sits on a launcher barrel, fingers up. Left mouse fires the blue hand, right mouse fires the red hand. Each flies out on a straight wire with its fingers spread, acts on what it lands on and reels back.
Reach replaces walking up to things. A landed hand presses Banban's wall buttons and coloured buttons, swipes keycard scanners, uses the tape player, fetches keycards and other pickups to you, and yanks loose furniture.
One electricity puzzle. The lobby button is dead. Latch one hand on the power source and the other on the socket to carry the current through the wire, then press the button.
One barricade. The lobby door is boarded up. Rip the planks off one at a time.
Playtime Co. on the speakers. Banban's ambience is replaced by Poppy Playtime's own films, played straight from your copy: the credits music as soundtrack, the GrabPack training film when you start, and the VHS tapes as you clear the barricade, enter the cafeteria and storage room, and use Banban's tape player.
Tapes you can see. While a tape plays, its picture shows in the top right of your view, and the music fades out under it and back in afterwards.
Monsters bring static. When Opila Bird gets close, the broadcast cuts to tape static.
You need Garten of Banban and Poppy Playtime, both installed from Steam. Nothing from either game is shipped: the films are played in place from your own copy of Poppy Playtime.
Good to know
Single player.
The hands are built by the mod from simple shapes. They are not Poppy Playtime's own GrabPack model.
The lobby door opens once both lobby buttons are pressed. The second is high above the entrance.
Once you own Banban's drone, the mouse buttons command both the drone and the hands.
