Dante in Minecraft

Play Minecraft as Dante from Devil May Cry 3, with his real model, his sword Rebellion and DMC3's own animations, all read at runtime from your own copy of Devil May Cry HD Collection. No Capcom file is included.

How to play

• Open a single-player world and press V to switch between Steve and Dante (rebind it under Controls).
• Left click: Rebellion's 3-hit combo, animated with DMC3's own moves. Every hit hurts the mobs in its arc and cuts soft blocks (dirt, wood, stone, leaves…), which drop as items.
• Hold a pickaxe, axe, shovel or hoe to put Rebellion on your back and mine as usual. Right click (placing blocks, eating, doors, chests) always works as normal.
• Chests and anything with an inventory, ores and obsidian are never cut; spawn protection, adventure mode and your own pets are respected. slash_breaks_blocks=false in config/dantemc.properties turns block cutting off.

Needs Minecraft: Java Edition and Devil May Cry HD Collection (PC). Without DMC you stay Steve and get a notice.

Single player · Minecraft 1.21.4 with Fabric, set up by Melty in its own Prism Launcher. Coming next: a weapon wheel for Dante's other weapons.
