Catto Playtime

Catto Pew Pew!'s real player model inside Poppy Playtime, through the whole chapter: Catto's finger-gun paws and cat head, read from your own copy of Catto Pew Pew!, and every Huggy Wuggy you meet can be pew-pewed.

You play Poppy Playtime. Double-tap E (or press G) to switch between the GrabPack and Catto. As Catto you see Catto's own paws making finger guns and the cat head as a badge; left mouse fires the left paw, right mouse the right one, with Catto's pew sound. Every hit knocks a Huggy back and staggers him; six hits send him flying away, spinning, to Catto's knockout sound. In the vent chase he is pushed back down the vent; the lobby statue, the machine-room Huggy, the hallway hand and the rest are shoved along your shot. Switch back to the GrabPack whenever a puzzle needs it.

What is read from your own games

Nothing from either game ships in this package. On first launch Melty runs catto_convert.exe against your installed Catto Pew Pew! and writes the paws, the head (with Catto's real face texture) and the pew / hit / knockout sounds to %LOCALAPPDATA%\CattoPlaytime. The mod loads them from there while Poppy Playtime runs. Poppy Playtime's Huggy, vents, GrabPack and chase logic are the game's own, driven live through UE4SS.

Requirements

• Poppy Playtime (Steam) — the host; the mod installs into WindowsNoEditor/Poppy_Playtime/Binaries/Win64.
• Catto Pew Pew! (Steam) — read for its content; Melty passes its folder to the converter.
• Windows 10/11, 64-bit.

Where to use it

Anywhere in Chapter 1. The chase Huggys, the lobby display statue, the machine-room Huggy, the hallway hand, the power-room statue and the storage scare all take hits. If Huggy catches you, Poppy's own death screen plays as usual.
