Bully: Scholarship Edition, fought on the beat of Dead as Disco's soundtrack.
You play Bully as Jimmy, exactly as before. The moment a fight starts, a track from your own copy of Dead as Disco comes in, a beat ring appears at the bottom of the screen, and Dead as Disco's rule applies to Bullworth: hits that land on the beat hit harder and build a combo.
What you get
Dead as Disco's music in Bullworth. 16 tracks (Rhythm Divine, Flawless, Hyper Sunrise, CHOMP, La Pantera, Mission and more), played straight from your Dead as Disco install. A different track each fight; Bully's own music steps aside and comes back when the fight is over.
On-beat hits. Every hit Jimmy lands is graded against the track's own beat:
PERFECT: double damage, combo +1
ON BEAT: +50% damage, combo +1
OFF BEAT: normal damage, combo back to 0
Combo tiers. GROOVE at 4, FEVER at 8, DISCO INFERNO at 16. Higher tiers multiply the bonus damage (up to x2) and push the track's intensity up.
Getting hit breaks your combo. So does going quiet for a few seconds.
A beat HUD. A ring closes onto the target and touches it on every beat; your combo sits inside it, each hit's grade pops above it, and the track title is shown underneath.
Works everywhere in the game: free roam, missions, boss fights. Fists, weapons, grapples: any hit Jimmy lands counts.
What you need
Bully: Scholarship Edition (Steam, version 1.200)
Dead as Disco (Steam)
Both must be installed. Single player. Nothing from either game is included: the music is read from your Dead as Disco folder while you play, and no Bully file or save is changed.
