How to join Cuphead has no online play of its own: its co-op is 2 players on one PC. Steam Remote Play Together, started from the Steam overlay, lets a friend join the host's game from theirs.

About

Broforce's bros invade Inkwell Isle. You play the normal Cuphead game on your own save, but every run-and-gun level and boss fight is fought by a bro from Broforce, under Broforce's rules.

Everything Broforce in it (the bros' pixel sprites, guns, bullets, rockets, grenades, explosions, blood and sounds) is read from your own installed copy of Broforce while Cuphead runs.

What you get

All 42 playable bros: Rambro, Brommando, B.A. Broracus, Bro Hard, Brominator, Brodell Walker, Bro Dredd, Brade, Indiana Brones, Ash Brolliams, MacBrover, Snake Broskin, Brobocop, Bronan, Broveheart, The Brode, Bro Lee, Time Bro, Ellen Ripbro, Cherry Broling and the rest, with their real Broforce sprites and animations.
Their own guns, with Broforce's projectiles and sounds: assault rifles, miniguns, shotguns, exploding rockets and bombs, spears, slime, silenced pistols. Melee bros (Brade, Bronan, Bro Lee, Broveheart and friends) hit with a short-range slash.
Their own specials on the EX button, with each bro's Broforce ammo count: his own grenade type, an airstrike, a rocket barrage or a few seconds of metal skin. Specials are simplified: every grenade type explodes, and a few unique Broforce specials (time slow, holograms) are stood in for by a grenade.
Pure Broforce rules: one hit kills your bro. You get a stack of 5 lives (Cuphead's HP counter shows them), and each time a bro dies a different one drops in.
Parry still matters: every parry gives back one special.
Solo or two-player couch co-op: Cuphead's own local co-op, with player two as a second bro on the same screen. There is no online play.

Cuphead's jump, dash, duck, parry and 8-way aim are unchanged. Aeroplane levels stay plain Cuphead. Weapon switching, EX shots and supers are replaced by the bro's gun and special.
