Build was a heavy work in progress, but I'm passing it to whoever wants to mess with it. there's a decent base on it, but its proving to be waaay to difficult to accomplish.
The Plan:
Absolute hammer Claude with prompts in an attempt to get the game mostly, if not fully playable in VR with 6-DOF and 3D rendering.
The Problem:
Since the game is so new, the game engine (Anvil) by Ubisoft isn't fully capable of being modified. It is basically 100% protected by encryption, but Claude is doing it best to 'mimic' VR support.
Current Progress:
Gameplay is now starting to push to the VR headset in a barely playable state - images are overlapping on both eyes, and not creating a 'merged' 3D picture.
6-DOF is starting to work, but still not fully possible. Based on my tests, using physical head movements is rendering in 3D. As previously mentioned, the 'per-eye image' isn't fully rendering (Basically looks like if you crossed your eyes and everything started blurring/meshing together).
Some motion controls have already been created: Hold hand to face to whistle, swinging and parrying (Still broken due to lack of ability to have proper physical movements; move hand to the right to attack, move hand upward to parry
Realistic Outcome:
Based off of current progress, it may end up just being a 3D render in VR with no physical movements. I don't expect Claude to be able to actually create true motion controls, but I'm cranking away at it so.. we'll see what happens.
Where Melty Comes In:
As you see, it takes AC: Black Flag Resynced and Blade and Sorcery.. Blade and Sorcery was more of the 'baseline' for Claude to actually take some of the Unity code and try to mimic it over to AC: Black Flag. As previously mentioned, Ubisofts game engine cannot be changed whatsoever.. so this is more of 'high hopes' outcome
