GTA Story Mode crashes, with damage driven by BeamNG’s simulation.
Drive GTA V’s existing cars with a crash-damage bridge to BeamNG.drive. Impacts are sent into a stock BeamNG vehicle’s real node-and-beam simulation, and the resulting deformation and broken beams add body and mechanical damage back to your GTA car.
Single player, GTA Story Mode only. Requires your own installed copies of GTA V Legacy 1.0.3889.0 and BeamNG.drive. GTA remains the main game; Melty starts the BeamNG simulation alongside it using a separate profile and installs the loader automatically.
Tracks up to 16 cars, prioritizing the car you’re driving. Car classes use approximate BeamNG proxy vehicles. Other mission vehicles, motorcycles, aircraft, boats and trains are excluded. GTA keeps its own meshes, world collisions and suspension; this is a damage bridge, not a complete replacement of GTA’s physics or vehicle models.
This update fixes missed impacts caused by GTA’s delayed collision reporting, preserves small damage changes, and calibrates the returned damage. The automatic test requires a real GTA collision, measured BeamNG deformation and a measured additional change in the GTA car.
