You play Escape the Backrooms. Every few minutes, a truck horn echoes through the walls.
The Backrooms freezes, and real Clustertruck takes the screen with one of its own campaign levels. Cross the trucks and reach the goal to come back stronger. Hit the floor too often and you "noclip" back into the Backrooms with less sanity.
What you get
Truck runs in the Backrooms. The first comes about 2 minutes into a level, then every 4 to 7 minutes, after a 5-second countdown in the Backrooms HUD.
Call one yourself with T (90-second cooldown).
The Backrooms stops while you're on the trucks. Entities and timers are frozen until you're back.
Real Clustertruck levels from your own copy: its trucks, physics, abilities and music. Runs start in world 1 and climb to world 9 as you clear them.
3 lives per run. Each fall restarts the level and costs a life.
What a run brings back into Escape the Backrooms:
Flawless: an Energy Bar, +40 sanity, and "truck legs" (stamina never runs out) for 90 s.
Won: Almond Water, +25 sanity, truck legs for 60 s.
Lost: -30 sanity.
Single player: runs happen in solo Escape the Backrooms games (nobody else in the lobby).
Good to know
Press Play and Melty starts Clustertruck behind the Backrooms for you. Closing Escape the Backrooms closes Clustertruck too.
Escape the Backrooms is switched to borderless fullscreen the first time, so the two games can share the screen.
Tweak it in %LOCALAPPDATA%\TruckRooms\settings.cfg (for example RunIntervalMin=180, CallKey=F6, Lives=5).
