ARC Breach

Rainbow attackers breach ARC nests. Pick Thermite, Ash or Twitch and break into a randomly built building that ARC machines have taken over. Drone ahead, get through the walls your way, take the ARC core from the vault and reach extraction.

What you do

• Thermite: exothermic charges burn through reinforced walls, the only way in that skips the door.
• Ash: breaching rounds blow open soft walls and barricades from range.
• Twitch: her shock drone marks ARC through walls and zaps them before you go in.
• Every attacker carries a recon drone, and gunfire chips away at soft walls and barricades.

The ARC

• Ticks scuttle up and latch on. Dodge roll (with your ARC Raiders roll key) to throw them off.
• Wasps flash a red targeting laser before they fire. Shoot out two thrusters and they spiral down.
• Hornets are armoured at the front. Flank them for the rear thrusters, and dodge their slowing shock darts.

Every extraction makes the next nest bigger and harder. Get downed and the streak resets. Your score carries across runs.

From your own games

ARC Breach is its own program and needs both games installed. Nothing from either game is shipped; it reads from your copies when it runs:

• Rainbow Six Siege: the operator videos behind the pick screen, the benchmark breach art and the Rainbow badge, and Siege's UI font.
• ARC Raiders: your field of view, mouse sensitivity and crosshair, your movement and dodge-roll key bindings, its cursor, and event art cached by your ARC client.

The ARC machines, operators, weapons and buildings are ARC Breach's own hand-made models, not the games' models. Neither game is launched or modified, so there is no anti-cheat involvement.

Solo, first person, Windows. Controls: your ARC Raiders movement and roll keys, mouse to aim and fire, R reload, G gadget, C drone, E interact, Shift sprint, F11 borderless window.
